"What's new in the guitar department for 2021? Well, the Helix Rack is joined by... a Helix Floor. Why have 2 Helix? (Helixes? Helixi?) Having the Floor version is useful for smaller gigs where space on stage is limited and means less kit to transport to rehearsals.

On the guitar front, the line up now includes a Godin xtSA. This is a 'Multi-Voice' guitar meaning that it has traditional electric guitar pickups, piezo pickups for an accoustic sound and a 13 pin 'Hex' output to trigger the Roland synth. Rutherford went through a phase of using the ARP Avitar a lot so the Godin/Roland GK-55 combo covers that.

I've always wanted a Gibson Les Paul and in recent years the High Performance version has been top of my wish list. When I saw a 2016 HP in my local music shop's pre-owned selection... I had to have it. The fact that Hackett uses Les Pauls is a great excuse!

These join the Fender Strat that I built. Since we do a lot of 1990's era Genesis, I decided to build myself a look-alike of the Strat that Rutherford and Stuermer were using at that time. I found a red US Strat with a maple fretboard as a base and tricked it out with a Floyd Rose trem and EMG SA pickups so it looks pretty close. Fortunately for me, it sounds and plays great too! "
